I use Clip Studio Paint and XPPen Artist 15.6 Pro! I used Gaomon's PD156 Pro for a couple years, but I definitely prefer the XPPen display>> Can I use your art as my pfp/wallpaper?

I use the Zhenlipen for sketching and the square texture brush for coloring & rendering! I also sometimes use random brushes I downloaded from Clip Studio Assets to add texture>> How did you get started doing art? Do you have any art tips?
I found some youtube tutorials to be a bit helpful (SamDoesArts), but honestly doing studies of artists I really admire (CelestialFang, WLOP) has been the most beneficial. Try to stay away from art tutorials that don't go into depth about WHY something works (ex. anatomy & lighting) because they won't work in every situation and you'll just be stunted>> Do you use references?
I do! I try not to directly copy off of references, but rather take inspiration from them and change up the pose a little bit or put my own spin on it. I have a Pinterest board of images that I think I might use as references for illustrations, and another board with references for sketchbook doodles!
